How To Find Angela And Paul Style Backlinks For Free

I’m sure you have heard of Angela and Paul backlinks, but for those of you unfamiliar with the concept, in a nutshell it’s a way of increasing your page rank by getting one way backlinks to your website from high PR forum profiles.

These backlinks packs will cost you about 5 bucks a month and in return you’ll get a handful of sites where you can place your backlink. Why pay however when you can easily find your own?

To get 1000 of Angela’s backlinks all you need is Angela’s website address, in the following example I’m going to use her article on goarticles.com

Head over to Yahoo and input the address above into the search field, alternatively just click on the following link:

Once you’ve clicked “Explore URL” you’ll notice a tab showing 1951 backlinks, if you click on this tab all of these backlinks will be displayed.

If you install the SEO Quake plugin for Firefox you can get the pageranks of all of these sites and work through the list finding the best sites to target.

Another useful plugin is Quirk this plugin for firefox will highlight “Nofollow” links and will help you to sort the High PR forum profiles and blog posts which you want to target.

You can also export the first 1000 backlinks from Yahoo site explorer in TSV format. Which you’ll be able to open in Textpad or notepad if you prefer.

Personally I prefer to find my own forum profiles and blogs to comment on and it really is easy to do!

For example if I wanted to find forums with the keyword “Internet Marketing” all I have to do is head over to Google and type intext:Powered by vBulletin “internet marketing”

I immediately discover 358000 forums running Vbulletin where I can post a link to my website, that’s a bit better than a handful of backlinks isn’t it? If you use Google’s advanced ptions you can display 100 results at a time and combined with SEOQuake and Quirk, you’ll find some real treasure!

One more thing to remember is to make sure that you optimize your backlink by using keywords in your link on the profile page. For example if I wanted to rank for “Free Angela Style backlinks” Then I’d ensure that my website name used that phrase and that the link pointed to the site I want to promote.
