Internet Marketing Software, My Observations

Anyone who is using Internet Marketing software will tell you that it is an essential part of their business, but why is it so critical to the success of a business?

A major challenge that an Internet Marketer has to face is effective use of time and although having good project management skills is a prerequisite, the biggest drain on the Internet Marketers time is the frequently tedious but essential day to day marketing duties we have to perform. You know the duties I’m talking about; Research, writing, re-writing and submitting articles, social book marking, blog commenting, forum posting, the list goes on and on….These activities eat away at your time and if you’re not automating them, then your backlng a loser.Without Internet Marketing software you will struggle to make a good living online and you certainly won’t be making the money you dream about. Forget quitting the day job because until you automate you’ll remain a well and truly stuck there.

A mistake many people make is that they don’t treat their online business like they would the offline equivalent. Building a business takes time, it’s not something that happens overnight and a lot of hard work is involved. You need to wear so many hats, you’ll need to be a designer, web developer, product developer, writer, seo expert and salesman. It’s not easy, don’t believe anyone who tells you so, it just isn’t true.If you have money available to invest in your business then it will be easier for you because you will be able to afford all of the internet marketing software needed to get your business up and running, but make sure you check things out thoroughly before parting with your hard earned cash.

I’ve always been pretty shrewd, I only buy internet marketing software or pay for services when I can afford to, and for a few years relied on the free open source alternatives out there. I can honestly say it’s all down to free applications like Open Office and the free programming languages “Autohotkey” and “AutoIT” which have provided the finances I needed for more expensive and powerful software. Over the past year I have spent thousands on Internet Marketing software and the tools needed to create create my own. If you can’t afford the tools then use the free alternatives just like I did, because they will do in the meantime.

It’s going to take you a while to build the traffic needed to start making money online, if you have the money than invest in Ubot Studio as the internet marketing software you can build with it will quickly get you on the road to making money. Whilst I’m writing this post I have several tools working on autopilot for me, I’m about to put several of them all on their own dedicated box, so they can run for 24 hours a day without intervention from me.

Here are a list of the tools I use on a daily basis:

Backlinker Professional 5 – I developed this software to automate activities I do on a daily basis, including forum marketing, Twitter marketing, RSS submissions etc. This software on its own can get some spectacular results.
Power PingFm poster – I originally developed this software to automate one pingfm account, but collaborated with my business partner Frank Thomas and we developed the software to include posting to multiple pingfm accounts. It runs completely on autopilot and I have it running 15 Pingfm accounts at a time.
Commenting software – I’m working on this at the moment, it finds EDU, GOV, Commentluv and recent post blogs and allows you to comment on them. I’ve just built in a page rank feature, it’s really neat and I get good results from it.
Tweetmagnate – Another of my applications works 24/7 adding and removing twitter users.

Internet Marketing Software like the above enable me to maximise the use of my time and I couldn’t live without them…well I could, but I’d be a lot poorer.

An Internet Marketing business needs to be treated with passion and you need to be prepared to put some hard work in to see good results. Invest your time and money carefully in internet marketing software and your business and you will get good results.

Working for yourself can be a truly liberating experience, you don’t have to take orders from a boss, you can work as and when you want, it is possible to make much more working for yourself than for anyone else, the list goes on…

The Internet provides us with a variety of jobs which we can do from the comfort of our own home. We are presented with the opportunity to make a good living online by doing the things which we enjoy. A hobby can easily be turned into a full time business, experience, knowledge and talent can easily be packaged into a product. You can create ebooks, training videos, audio courses, the only limit is your knowledge and ability. Before you make a decision to launch yourself in to self-employment however, take some time to list and think about your skills (whether specialized or general). This list will help to keep you focused and give you some direction. When you work for yourself it’s all about planning and goal setting. Omit this step and you’ll go nowhere fast.

So many people recommend filling in surveys as an easy job to do online, to be honest I think this approach is a complete waste of time. This area is also the favourite domain of the scam artist and I wouldn’t recommend doing it to anyone. I looked at surveys several years ago and decided it was definitely not for me.

Blogging

If you have a hobby and have a real passion for it then why not set up a free blog on blogger? Regularly write good content and monetise the blog with Google Adsense, affiliate links or better still your own products. Dennis’s book will not teach you how to create products, but it will teach you a very good strategy which really tuned things around for me. (In my book…it’s an essential purchase)

Article writing

If you are good at writing then you can make money writing articles for clients. You can advertise your services on sites like the Warrior Forum or on Fiverr. If you can create quality articles quickly then you will easily be able to build yourself a regular client base. However the most important aspects are speed and quality, many people are happy to pay $5 an article and if you can create an good article in about 15 minutes then you are onto a good thing.

Article re-writing

There’s a load of information on the Internet which can be re-written and packaged as PLR material, there are also software applications which can help with this, The best Spinner being a good example. However the output from such tools will still need to be edited as it can often be unreadable and of little value.

Affiliate marketing

You can make a good living selling affiliate products, I know many people who are making over $300 a day selling other people’s products. That’s not a bad little earner is it? You can do this by setting up review sites, where you look at the product you are promoting and evaluate how good it is. It makes a lot of sense to actually purchase the products you are promoting and then you’ll be able to do good reviews rather than generic ones based on the affiliates sales copy.

Writing sales copy

If you can write sales copy which motivates people to buy and can prove your expertise in this area then this option may be very attractive to you. I work with copywriters who make a minimum of $1000 per job and live very comfortable lives.

Editing and Proof reading

If you have exemplary writing skills then you can proofread and edit documents for people, students for example, will pay you handsomely to proofread and edit their dissertations.

Search engine optimization

Are you a bit of a search engine optimization Ninja? Do you know effective ways of driving traffic to websites? This is a really specialized area and if you are skilled and can provide social proof to clients both online and offline then you can make some very good money.

Web Design

This is a specialized area and I wouldn’t recommend getting into it unless you have a good understanding of html markup and PHP. However with some skill in this area you can set up clients online and you can be looking at a minimum of $100 for this service.

Graphic Design

Are you good with graphics programs like Photoshop? If you can create good graphics for sites then you can easily find clients. There are always people who need to have attractive banners and logos made for their business.

How To Make Money Online With Blogger

This article describes a technique which I successfully use to make a regular online income. It’s the avenue that anybody should take if they want to get into Internet marketing but do not have any money to invest in hosting or design.

It’s surprisingly simple too, all you need is a product to advertise, a free blogger blog , a and blogger squeeze page template. The only other thing you have to do is to promote the free blogger blog on niche related forums, Yahoo answers, twitter and a few good article directories.

First and foremost you need to find a niche and perform thorough keyword research. A good place to get ideas is Google’s wonder wheel. This little enhancement to the search facility is a valuable tool as it displays graphically, keywords related to your search phrase. Using the wonder wheel will present you with a lot of good keyword phrase ideas. You can also drill down through the wonder wheel to discover some real gems. Another tool you should be using is the Google Adwords External tool. This will give you a good idea of the competition that is out there and may reveal some profitable keywords which are not being exploited by paid advertisers. Keyword research is such an important facet of the Internet marketing process and it’s something that you really have to get right if you want to make a good living online from free traffic.

Another thing to consider, once you have found the keyword phrase that you’re going to target is using the keyword phrase in your free blogger domain name. For example, if my area of interest was blogger squeeze pages,Then I would Use this phrase as my blogger domain name. This is such a simple technique and yet so many people overlook it and opt for a domain name which bears no relevance to the product they are promoting.

Once you have set up your Blogger account, go to the design options of the blog and upload your squeeze page theme. You can then use this simple one-page website to to promote a product of your own on that of an affiliates. The next thing to do is to start promoting your free blog. You can do this by joining forums related to your niche and by creating a signature file which points to your free blogger blog. Other places to promote your blog worth considering are twitter, Yahoo! Answers, indeed anywhere where people are discussing the product which you are promoting. Get your twitter account to schedule posts advertising your blog, it’s not too complicated to completely automate your Twitter account and there are several account management applications available online. Just pick one which you can easily afford and get that working for you.

I was amazed when I started using this method of making money online, in the past I always used paid hosting (I still do to some extent) and so I had the costs associated with the hosting. Nowadays however, I have several of these free blogger blogs which are consistently making me money online. I think this truly is the best option open to anybody who wants to make money from Internet marketing but doesn’t have the resources to invest in advertising.

Combine article marketing and the major power of Web 2.0 and the benefits to your business will be truly amazing.
